We would like to invite you to be involved in the biggest-ever national NHS Campaigners' Conference

Dear  colleague,
First and foremost: Thank you. On March 4th this year you were part of the biggest-ever national demonstration in support of #ourNHS, and it was absolutely incredible.
Now we need your help again.
We would like to invite you to be involved in the biggest-ever national NHS Campaigners' Conference to broaden and strengthen our networks up and down the country.
It will be in London in Hammersmith Town Hall, W6 9LE. Saturday 4th November 11am – 4.30pm. The doors will be open for stalls, coffee and registration from 10am, to ensure a prompt start.
The broad themes and demands of the conference will be the same as those that galvanised hundreds of thousands at #ourNHS demo:

  • No Cuts or Closures
  • No Privatisation
  • Fair Pay for NHS staff

We have an exciting platform of speakers confirmed from leading trade unions and councillors to local campaigners and life-long activists, including:

  • Dr Chaand Nagpaul, Chair of BMA
  • Sara Gorton, head of Unison health
  • Ken Loach, BAFTA award winning film director
  • Julian Bell and Steven Cowan, Council Leaders who have rejected STPs in London

But the most important contributions will come from you and your delegates. It is absolutely essential that we hear from you and we urge you to come and share your experiences, ideas, strategies and vision with like-minded others at this conference to build pressure against a collapsing Government. We expect this to be an important and influential turning point for #ourNHS.
Following introductory speakers, the format of the day will be structured into 2 halves:
1. Workshops on key campaigning issues identified by our affiliates.
2. Geographical networking and alliance building.
This will then be closed by a PLENARY SESSION.
A finalised agenda will be published on our website: www.healthcampaignstogether.com and a detailed leaflet for the event which we encourage you to print and share is available for download or in printed form.
Early bird registration closes Wed Nov 1st
The link for online booking is www.healthcampaignstogether.com
Lunch will be provided for all PRE-BOOKED delegates

  • Early bird fee: £7.50 | After 1st Nov / On the door: £10 |
  • Concessions: £5 pre-booked (£7 on the door)

We will contribute towards costs of long distance public transport from the North, Devon and Cornwall.
Organisations not yet affiliated or subscribing to the paper (new Issue 8 now available online & printed copies from Saturday) are encouraged to do so.
Our affiliation base is growing, and our aim is to reach every area of England. If you are able to offer support to our campaign please do so at https://www.healthcampaignstogether.com/support
I very much look forward to seeing you on 4th November and building on our ever-increasing strength.
With very best wishes
