DAVID CANDLER
The sudden and unexpected death of David Candler has come as a shock to Worcester Labour Party.
David served the Party at the very highest levels, working alongside Harold Wilson in Downing Street. he served as a committed and passionate City Councillor, representing St. John's ward until his retirement earlier this year. He was utterly committed to the people of Worcester; was assiduous in his work for the ward he represented; and was a clear voice on Planning issues in the city. His knowledge of the Labour Party and of the City Council were second to none.
His death has left friends and colleagues shocked, and our warmest thoughts go to Sarah and the family at this difficult time.
