WCLP Policy Forum Reminder

Reminder - Worcester Labour Party Policy Forum: Have your say!

We held a policy forum at the weekend which was very successful; members had their say on a range of issues and helped Worcester CLP develop its thinking for next year’s elections and beyond.

But don’t worry if you couldn’t make it -   we’re holding another one this Wednesday evening just for you!

Come along and help us write:

- the manifesto we’ll use for campaigning in the forthcoming City council elections in 2018

Topics within the remit of Worcester City Council for discussion include:

  • Housing/ homelessness
  • Visitor economy/ tourism
  • Community Safety/Cohesion
  • Air quality/ environment/ riverside

In addition to the list of topics above “For The Many Not The Few” covers a range of other issues such as: Education, Brexit, Healthcare, Social Security, a fair deal at work, a more equal society.    Some of these are likely to be the focus of national campaign days and it will be useful to have local examples that we can focus on.
