Policy Forum

We are holding two policy forums to enable members to contribute to both developing 2018 local manifesto and discussing how it links in with the national manifesto launched this year by the national party.

Members will have their own local knowledge of issues and concerns and we need to be able to link those examples with the Manifesto (City and National), to show how Labour will make a difference

Suggested topics for discussion so far are:

Housing/ homelessness
Visitor economy/ tourism
Community Safety/Cohesion
Air quality/ environment/ riverside

It is hoped that the sessions will be structured so you can attend as many of the discussion groups as you wish and will feel free to make as much of a contribution as possible.

We have asked branch chairs to discuss this with you at your next branch meeting and come up with suggestions. In the meanwhile, to confirm attendance please email Adrian Gregson, a.gregson63@btinternet.com, Bev Morris, bmkmorris@gmail.com
or Chris Cawthorne, chcawthorne@btinternet.com.
