At Worcester Labour Party, we are proud to relaunch our website, which has been "resting" since the General Election.
Facing another five years of opposition at national level, but always battling to make gains in the annual City Council elections, Worcester Labour is bursting with ideas for the future. As the Tory Government's attacks on the most vulnerable in society make their mark, Labour is working hard to speak with as many people as we can reach across our great city, looking for how best to serve local residents in the face of the tough times ahead.
We are keen to hear from anyone with idea on the direction our City should take. Our first Policy Forum took place a month after the election, and pulled together initial ideas for the 2016 City Council election manifesto. We are looking for people who may be interested in becoming candidates or councillors, or who can tell us what needs to be done in their neighbourhood.
With plenty of new members and plenty of excitement for the time ahead, there has never been a better time to participate in the Labour Party's work. We hope you can play a part.
