Worcester Labour Party launches a Women's Forum

WARDON-TEA-6.jpg

I am delighted to confirm that Worcester Labour Women's Forum is to be officially launched on February 6th with its inaugural event at The Hive, Worcester, 14.00 to 16.00.

All female members and supporters are most welcome to attend - and it promises to be a great event!

This is our launch event. It will be very relaxed and informal and will give us the opportunity to get to know each other and to decide how we want our forum to run.

To mark this landmark event in the history of Worcester CLP, a very special guest will be joining us. Moira Dickenson joined the Labour Party in 1945, when she was just 12 years old.  She will talk to us about what it was like to be a Labour Party member and activist in her youth. I am sure that we will all find this to be a real inspiration

Due to room size limitations, it will be necessary to restrict numbers so please book your place as soon as possible as we will allocate places on a first come first served basis.

We are requesting a donation of £2 to cover our costs of hiring the venue.

Please either RSVP here on the website, or let me know directly - tbiggs@worcesterlabour.org.uk

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on the 6th. Please get in touch if you have any queries.

With very best wishes,
Tracey.
